Much of what I express in the process of my painting is connected to how I approach life and the passion I have for things that intrigue me. With this ability, I am not limited by the facade or seemingly obvious. I use this ability to define things visually for myself and others.
My ability to paint is a relief--it is entirely relaxing and organic. I am drawn to the layering process, the ability to literally sculpt an image through a linear-based vocabulary. The majority of my work deals with themes of portraiture of nature and individuals.
